About Us

Who is VIPER?
VIPER is an organization that has been formed out of a rapidly growing need for solid and complete physical training for athletes. So often athletes get pigeon holed into being a “volleyball player” or a “basketball player” and rightfully so if that is their primary and only sport of focus. However, we are not simply focused on volleyball, basketball or any other sport, but rather the complete athlete.  We understand true and correct body mechanics and we teach our athletes why they do what they do.  We spend a lot of time fixing bad habits and incorrect mechanics that they “learn” other places.

For the past several years, Director Eric Bouchoc has been working on programs to help improve the athleticism and conditioning of athletes. VIPER has been formed around these programs.  Why do we do jump boxes and what is the correct way to do them?  What is necessary for an athlete to thrive in the sport they play?  Why is it not necessary to run miles for volleyball and how is it actually detrimental?  These are the questions we ask and the questions we help solve.

At its core, VIPER is a volleyball club, but we are not limited to just volleyball.  We understand the athlete and provide opportunities that will aide them to succeed in a healthy and advanced system of training.

We look forward to seeing you in one of our programs. More information about the different types of programs can be found on our training page.

The Key Players
VIPER was founded by Eric Bouchoc and Brian Bennett in 2013.  Both had daughters playing volleyball at the time and both needed a safe and professional environment in which to have their daughters compete.  Long time friends, Eric and Brian formed VIPER together and made a commitment to place the athletes first.  They decided that the politics that is running rampant throughout the volleyball community was disheartening to say the least and have pledged not to take part in that to any capacity.  They are a no nonsense club that is interested in training at the highest level possible.

Eric Bouchoc – Co-Founder/Director – Eric is responsible for all things athletic.  He is the backbone of the programs that are currently in place.  He is responsible for the day to day operations of the organization and making sure that everything is in place as it should be.  Eric has spent a considerable number of years coaching, training, learning and teaching.  He has a great understanding about how the body works and strives to help his athletes understand this also.  Eric has spent over 20 years giving to those around him what he knows and continues to do so every time he has an opportunity.

Brian Bennett – Co-Founder – Brian had spent a considerable amount of time and effort in making sure many of the behind the scenes things were taken care of that people typically didn’t see or completely understand.  Some of those things were hotel bookings, finances, organization and structure, uniforms and apparel.  Brian was a key contributing partner to the organization.  He is no longer with VIPER as of July 2018.
